Truth Prevails

Vinith Handa

Gifted precious life is fun to live. Positive approach ensures extension of happiness and counters negative forces surrounding us, which are not in our control. When negative forces target us, life gets shaken up and becomes complicated. You bet, it becomes very stressful. Important in life is not to get scared of uncertainties but learn to deal with them. Some uninvited situations result in creating stress and shake ups, need to be ignored as they smoothen with a passage of time and we continue to live life with happiness. However, areas of uncertainties which target us royally based on false notions need to be dealt with aggression ‘cause there are no earthly problems which cannot be solved. One must initiate action to resolve them.

I understand initiation with aggression. Some situations make you angry, force you to act fast and take decisions at the spur of the moment. Acts done in this fashion often land us in a bigger soup. If a situational area is based on falseness and is affecting our personal self and others, still be calm, feel relaxed, analyze the degree of the problem and then move on to solve it in a simple way. Remember people in the world are not so immature to get provoked and react. Even if they do so, let’s follow our inner sense and be calm but be firm. Solve (kill) the situation because remember past never dies and so it is important to solve (kill) it in the present itself. Act with facts and choose the right path.

We are a Gandhian nation, wherein there is great respect for women. Everybody preaches to a Gandhian but how does one follow it in one’s personal lives. In Sayali’s case idea was not to harm anyone intentionally but stop people from maligning her and to have a peaceful, respectful and lawful method to voice her opinion.

When Miss India World and Film Actress Sayali Bhagat got affected by the false allegations, she adopted a Gandhian approach to deal with the situation. She made a police complaint with true facts and got the culprit booked.

Now, considering the truth is out. Sayali is very thankful to the entire Police fraternity for their dedicated and evaluative study of the situation and for their swift action. I’m happy of Sayali’s proud statement that “it is not her but the Indian Police who deserves to be crowned for being the Trend setter”. This resolved case will bring back value to the digital media, portraying its strength with global reach but with a strong message i.e., “False n Faulty information will be strongly dealt”. It is an important lesson and hereon even certain section of digital media, who innocently followed false news with affirmation, will be careful.

Truth prevails though it may take some time. I’m sure everyone, especially those who have been affected, will understand and once again the Film Industry will continue to live like a family.

Moral of the story: Millions of False statements get squashed with one simple Truth.

sayali bhagat Ghost and Controversy

sayali bhagat

After the tsunami of controversies and rumors, the music launch of my film Ghost with Shiney Ahuja was a breeser. I always want people to talk about my work & not about anything else. The whole episode of controversies that surrounded me after the commencement of the film has really disturbed me.Entire Shiney episode was blowed out of proportion, where I had to concentrate with my post production was clearing the air about the entire issue.
It’s so easy to malign an actor’s image and later on make it seem like a publicity stunt. How could someone promote themselves by creating negativity around?

Now that I am overdone with all the controversies I can now concentrate on promoting my film Ghost which was my most awaited film to hit the screens. Even for me it was a big task in essaying this role as it’s a horror flick. And somewhere down the line I feel it is my best performance till date. What could have been better having had a co-star like Shiney Ahuja who by far the best actor in this role .there was so much to learn from him . He would also want to give a perfect shot. Sometimes I would just give but he is a perfectionist.
As an actor you always want to improve your carrier graph and always want to take a step ahead by your performances. And I think I have done just that. I am sure that my audiences won’t be disappointed after a long wait.
Looking forward to 16th Dec when my film will actually hit the screens. All excited and nervous at the same time. Before the “D day” I have been scheduled for n number of interviews. But all in the right spirits when work is concerned.

On Saturday, November 12, 2011, the 4th Annual Midweek South Asian Awards show, presented by Aureus University, School of Medicine, was held at the plush Grand Victorian Convention Centre at Radisson Plaza, where the who’s who of the Greater Toronto Area converged to celebrate the contributions of nine South Asian trailblazers from all walks of life.
This year the grand addition of a glitzy red carpet event brought with it a real sense of occasion. Drawing hundreds of guests every year, this one-of-a-kind show included high-profile South Asians, well-known business houses, and a host of politicians such as Hon. Bal Gosal, minister of state for sport, Conservative MP Parm Gill, Liberal MP Kirsty Duncan, MPP Harinder Thakhar, MPP Dipika Damerla, and Susan Fennell, mayor of Brampton. The gracious Mrs Preeti Saran, Consul-General of India was also present. The event was covered by Rogers TV and Sony TV and several other ethnic media.
The fast-paced and engaging show hosted by Jake Dheer, Rogers TV station manager, and Surbhi Guleria, host of Badhai Ho on Omni TV, kicked off with a rocking Bollywood dance performance by Jadoo Entertainment who wove their magic right through the show. The ravishing Bollywood actress and former Miss India World, Sayali Bhagat, flew in all the way from Mumbai to put up a scintillating live performance — a first for the Midweek South Asian Awards event. Sayali, who will be starring in the upcoming movie Ghost, took time out to pose with guests for pictures and signed autographs. A fashion show by Silver Tulip added to the glam quotient.

Abhinav Kumar, CEO of Telkin Corp, a business process outsourcing and medical transcription company, was awarded with the South Asian Youth of the year. Speaking at the event, Yudhvir Jaswal, chief editor of Midweek News Weekly, said that it is important to recognize leaders who make a difference in the community as they not only represent the talent of today but are an inspiration for the achievers of tomorrow. He went on to add that if there is one true export from South Asia, it is the message of peace and goodwill disseminated by Mahatma Gandhi himself — a message he hoped everyone present at the show would take away with them.
